After some confusion with the tube lines, I managed to get to High Street Kensington with plenty of time to find my items.
I went inside the first charity shop I saw, Oxfam, and began my search for a 1960's dress, vintage scarf and a Penguin book (or a book of that style). Straight away, I found one of my items - the scarf decorated with a brown and gold pattern for £4.98.

I also managed to find a Penguin book that appears to be from the 1960's/1970's era however it is hard to tell as there is no date; it cost 99p.

I next went into a Geranium charity shop; I found one polyester shirt with stripes for £1 however I wasn't too convinced - I decided to shop around for a bit longer, seeing if I could find anything better suited to the brief.
